Summer 2019 Classes

Dear Planet Han Parents,

We are starting to get excited about this summer! Summer Classes and Camp registration has started and we have a lot to offer so please read on…

For 1 to 3 year olds:

Group Classes from June 18 to August 10: there are 2 sessions to select from.

For 2.5 to 4 year olds:

Immersion Preschool Alternative from June 18 to August 10: there are 2 sessions to select from and students must sign up for at least 2 mornings or 2 afternoons per week.

For 4 to 10 year olds:

Summer Immersion Full Day Camp from June 18 to August 10. You may register one week at a time.
This year, we will be learning about various aspects of the Yuan Dynasty at the West Side location and Han Dynasty at the East Side location in addition to Chinese cooking, Science and Acting.

Our Camp Teaching Approach: Through role play, 3D model making, hands on activities, fun games, art and craft, we turn Chinese History into a fun, approachable journey. Campers travel between ancient China and modern New York. Campers are encouraged to join at least two weeks in a row to see some fluency results.

Typical Daily Camp Routine:
• Morning meeting
• Outdoor time (park or neighborhood exploration, weather permitting)
• Morning snack (provided by us)
• Core Lesson (per above table)
• LEGO building workshop
• Group Dance
• Lunch (students bring their own nut-free lunch)
• Art and Craft
• Acting class
• Chinese calligraphy
• Monday karate / Tuesday local shopping / Wednesday ping pong / Thursday neighborhood walk/ Friday movies
• Afternoon Snack (provided by us); followed by dismissal

Registration for summer classes is not done online. Please download the Summer schedule and registration form at the top right of this page, fill out the included form, and mail both the completed form and a check to 401 West End Ave, New York NY 10025
